Scout: Joe Roberto

Project: Softball Dugout

Joe began his Boy Scout experiences in March of 2005. Throughout the years he served as an Assistant Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader, Grubmaster, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, and Den Chief.

For his Eagle Service project, Joe built a softball dugout at Miscoe Hill Middle School. He began on the first base line with a rotted bench with a fence in front of it. After a grand total of planning the project and carrying it out (including man hours of others), it was completed in about 183 hours. At the request of the school, it was painted "Fenway Green" to support Miscoe Hill's school spirit and of course, the Boston Red Sox.
